Illustration
A selection of my personal projects as an illustrator.
Sometimes I use an iPad Pro, but I’m pretty kick ass with nothing but a keyboard and a mouse.
I mainly use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Just a man with a hat.
Finnish general election feels.
Not another self-portrait.
Inspired by a Joe Rogan Netflix special & retro comic art.
Reach out, I’ll be there.
This concept was rejected by a client, but I thought it was really something special.
Lady in red.
I saw a piece that used this technique that I absolutely fell in love with, so I had to give it a go myself.
Dream.
Originally a concept for a poster competition, but I eventually decided on another direction…
Sweet thing.
I’m such a sucker for puns; A Clockwork Orangutan.
This was a concept art study for a new board game I’m designing with a friend.
I was quite excited to learn new stipple brush shading techniques.

Ok, I admit. Anthropomorphism is amazing.
I visited Berlin with a group of my best mates.
We had the tastiest crispy duck there, which inspired me to draw this piece.
I was getting married in the summer of ‘18 and my mates threw an amazing bachelor party.
This is how I felt afterwards.
Not all designers wear black: A self-portrait.
What if I was a Moomin character?
I’m always doodling faces. This time I equipped the Illustrator curvature tool and went crazy.
I woke up one morning sweaty as hell with nothing but the image of an octoskull in my head.
I had to draw it, obviously.
I wanted to learn more about character rigging in After Effects.
Initially I was to draw a boxer, but came up with an idea of a levitating Shaolin monk instead.
The idea evolved into a monk struggling with his beliefs, who eventually finds peace.
There is a card for every occasion. More often than not they feel like empty gestures.
Here’s one for you mum.
